With a background in operations management and a Masters Degree in business management, Emmanuel’s career to date has provided him with an amazing skill set and the experience to develop his future with his new Jani-King Commercial Cleaning Franchise.
Having worked within a variety of industries throughout his career, Emmanuel was looking for a franchise where he could utilise his many years of experience and provide an exciting new challenge. With experience in managing his own construction company in Brazil, as well as previous experience in cleaning and facilities management, he was looking for the buzz of managing a new business without the hard work and stress of creating that from scratch. Having initially been recommended to Jani-King by his Accountant, it seemed like the perfect fit.
Considering Franchise Options: The Jani-King Difference
Following online research around Franchising, Emmanuel was initially concerned about the upfront and ongoing costs of a Franchise business and so took a cautious approach in considering different Franchise options.
Having contacted Jani-King for further discussions, his fears were allayed after very thorough initial conversations and a first meeting with Will in London. Emmanuel was very impressed with the transparent information provided to him to aid his decision making.

Visiting Jan-King Headquarters in Weybridge, Surrey
In 2016, and within four weeks of his initial meeting, Emmanuel visited Jani-King Headquarters in Weybridge, Surrey, to discuss the business in more detail and to understand the next steps. His first impressions of the visit were of a company that was really going places and he was very happy that Will answered all his questions providing a real sense that this franchise would give him the opportunity to learn something new while making full use of his previous experience. Emmanuel loved the two-way dialogue and the open communications and sense of working together to achieve the best outcomes for all Jani-King clients and franchisees.
Supported all the Way: From Commercial Cleaning Training to Business Mentoring
After waiting to complete on some property transactions to begin his journey, in July 2017 Emmanuel committed to a Jani-King Plan 4 Franchise, with a clear vision to grow. The support provided by Will, Michelle and Megan was very flexible and he has always felt that they work together to achieve the plan.
Jani-King provided all the necessary training and induction required for Emmanuel to get underway. The training delivery was clear and comprehensive, with information very well delivered and easy to digest. Having initial and ongoing access to a variety of different training methods in multiple formats had proved especially helpful for Emmanuel.
Off to a Flying Start: Exceeding Expectations for Growth
Emmanuel’s experience of the Jani-King Franchise to date has been exceptionally positive and he has great ambitions and expectations to continue to grow.
Taking the franchise route has given Emmanuel the backup he wanted from a business with guidance and support from Head Office.
Within 6 months of starting his journey with Jani-King, Emmanuel’s business has grown from the initial Plan 4 set up, to a flourishing business turning over in excess of £45,000 per month. In addition to this he has successfully taken on two additional people to assist with the business and has plans to continue this growth.
